Our Mission Statement

Laboratoires St. Elie was launched in December 1997. Its mission at first was to cater for the laboratory needs of Antelias inhabitants in the Metn region. The laboratory was equipped with the basic instruments needed to perform routine tests in the fields of biochemistry, hematology, serology and microbiology. Specimens for “special tests” were sent to reputable peer laboratories in the country, or via courier service to European institutions.

Almost 2 decades later, we have proudly become one of the leading laboratories in the country, employing a total of 20 trained personnel and carrying out the most advanced laboratory testing methods. Our services have expanded beyond the boundaries of the Metn region, providing reliable diagnostic laboratory results to patients, physicians, and peer laboratories in areas all over Lebanon. With our stringent insistence on assured quality control, Laboratoires St. Elie is not only subscribed to international certifications, but is the first and only Laboratory in Lebanon to acquire the comprehensive ISO 15189 accreditation.
